Kayla Knapp is a former student at Fort Bend Academy of Dance and a BalletForte alum. Mrs. Knapp is a graduate from Sam Houston State University with a dance degree. Professionally, Kayla has danced throughout the Houston area most notably with NobleMotion Dance. Kayla can also be seen onstage in BalletForte’s “The Nutcracker” as Dr. Drosselmeyer. Mrs. Knapp also shares her talents by instructing fitness classes and managing studios. Kayla directs Fort Bend Academy of Dance’s Jazz and Contemporary program which features her choreography.
Kayla’s piece, A Walk Down Abbey Road, was performance last March at the Regional Dance America/Southwest Festival in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
